lots has happened....too much to really go over..here's the highlights though...

Got promoted at work back in like....june, i think it was....funny thing about this is after only a month, i got put on probation (that i'm still on), for some stupid shit...though, i think i'm coming off it soon....

Chris disappeared again....and as a result, it seems everyone but me is pissed at him...well...maybe i should put that differently...everyone, including me is pissed at him, but when he decides to come back, i'll still talk to him, lol...yeah, i think that's more accurate...

My job still sucks, and now it seems the assbags that bought us out are trying to force us into bankruptcy, so that they can get rid of our debts.....i'm thinking within another year or two, the company i signed up to work for will no longer exist...sad, but i'm hoping i'll either be gone, or have a second job by the time that happens....i tell ya' people...if things get any worse, i'm so bailing...this company is fucked...

Had a releative die recently....i didn't really remember her, and haven't seen her in like 15 years...didn't really care....it might seem kinda cold, but when my parents forced me to go to the viewing, i was pretty pissed off, because i hate hanging around dead bodies, and ffs, i was losing a day of work....i have bills to pay, i can't be taking time off to go hang around the dead body of someone i don't even remember.....bah.....

So i'm pissed at gamestop again....miserable fucking cunts apparently forgot the meaning of a NEW game......when i go for a NEW game, i expect a brand new unit, factory sealed...untouched...

gamestop's definition of new is a unit that's been stripped of it's factory packaging, with a beat up (scratched, scuffed, plastic damaged, with a fucking sticker stuck to it) case, fiddled with manual, and scratched disc...all this for the price that it sells for new....seriously, these fuckers need to have a floor price, and sell units like this for THAT price...NOT the fucking NEW price...

so instead of a NEW game, i get a "slightly beat up, but never played" game, sold as new...

I asked them why in the name of all that's holy is the game in this condition, but still selling as new.....it was explained to me that when they get a new game, they open multiple copies, so they can put the boxes on the shelves for display....EVER HEAR OF DUMMY BOXES, YOU SILLY CUNTS?!...the use of dummy boxes could have easily maintained the NEW status of the units, while still giving them a visual aid to place on shelves.....this is the last time i buy a NEW game from an actual gamestop location

it's a good thing i have access to a disc repair machine, and nearly mint-condition factory PS2 game cases.....

in addtion to their bait and switch with new games, the crew at the first location i visited was the most lazy, useless batch of douche bags i've encountered in a long while....we have cunt number one...pasty-looking asswipe with a bullshit attitude...he was more interested in fiddling with games behind the counter than in actually helping me.....then there was cunt number two, who was content to just sit on the floor behind the counter, and not help anyone, except for handing out answers to questions (which were all wrong by the way)...then there's cunt number three...i'm not sure if cunt number three actually even worked there...he didn't have any name badge or anything, but then again, none of them did (hence the slick nicknames i gave them)...but he was walking around doing stuff, and he was allowed behind the counter...so either he worked there, or he was friends with the other two, and was just behind the counter when he shouldn't have been....

so i ask them if they have the game i want (Warship Gunner 2. good game by the way, more on that later)...cunt number one grunts, cunt number two is like "naw"...then says some other stupid shit...cunt number three walks in circles......cunt number one then points out that they had two, and that it took them 9 months to sell them off (it was a limited release game, very rare)..i'm glad it took you 9 months to sell them off...what do you want, a fucking cookie?...that information doesnt help me...so i ask if they could contact another location to see if they have it...they all avoid the question, offering me something else instead of the game i want...when i ask if they even HAVE the number of another location, they think for a few minutes, then rattle off a number....turned out to be wrong...cunt number three is still walking in circles....i give em' a half-assed "thanks" then walk out.....can you now see why i termed them useless douche bags?

so i dial up directory assistance, get the number to the other location, call them up...jackpot, they have two in stock....me and my mates bust a move, and we're there in no time....we walk in, and the intelligent sounding chap who i spoke to before was behind the counter, accompained by an older guy who was more interested in fiddling with the games behind the counter than actually helping (notice a trend?)....one of my mates decided to buy a DS Lite, so "fiddling behind the counter dude" had to actually help him out.....he was very rude and shitty about the whole thing, kinda slamming my mate's DS and kit on the counter....i asked why the game that was supposedly new was not in it's factory packaging, and in new condition, and that's where i got the explanation of them opening shit...this was from the fiddling dude, so it was delivered very rudely, and in an annoyed tone....i ended up switching the one i was carrying for the one that was LESS fucked up....i checked out, and we left.....what the fuck is it with gamestop?...can't they hire more people who aren't rude, or useless?


Anyways, i fixed the disc, and traded out the case at my shop, so all is well....Warship Gunner 2 is a pretty damned badass game...i'm a fan of the series, so maybe i'm biased...but KOEI/Microcabin outdid themselves with this one...they took everything that was good about the previous games, and made them better, while adding some new stuff(better graphics, new breifing mechanics, new gameplay mechanics, submarines, and more)....it's quite good...if you're a fan of the series, and you don't own this title yet, go get it...just don't buy it from a gamestop store...order online, lol..

..i think i'm done for now.....hopefully, i'll get around to doing this more often, seeing as how i seem to be the only writer on staff who still gives a shit about this blog....
