Thoughts for a rainy day
This weather is bullshit...
That's basicly been my mantra for the last week. Right now, we're being pounded by this really shitty storm...day after day, the rain just won't stop...it's really starting to get annoying. It's supposed to stop sometime in the next couple of days, but i'm not holding my breath for it..
The more i think about it, the more i realize i really love cigarettes....Friends and girlfriends come and go...but cigarettes are always there....chicks can give you the clap, and the hiv.....friends can bail on ya, turn on ya, and make you feel like complete shit...but cigarettes are always there...and they can give ya' cancer, the gift that keeps on giving....Need some stress relief?, have a smoke....need some comfort after a hard day at work?, have a smoke...wanna try on some cancer for size?...call your old buddy "Mr Marlboro"....he'll hook ya' up...
Maybe i'm cracking up from the stress, or maybe i've had a massive epiphany(or brain hemmorage...same thing really), but i just feel really good when i think about it ::shrug::
At any rate, i also really love video games....just picked up a few decent ones recently...
Echo Night: Beyond - This game is really pretty cool, once you get past the controls..good story, nice use of special effects, the ghosts look suitably creepy....the game is really immersive, and genuinely creepy..i'd definately recommend this one to anyone who can find it (it had a very limited production run)
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - If you're a fan of the show, go out and buy this game RIGHT NOW.....thanks to Production I.G.'s involvement with the production of this title it came out being almost exactly like the show...the english voice actors are all there, the story's solid, and it all just feels right, looks good, and overall just kicks ass....there's a few sections that will most likely drive you into a fit of rage, but i'm sure you'll get past them without breaking TOO many PS2 controllers...
Star Trek: Shattered Universe - Like Star Trek?...like the mirror universe?.....then check this title out, it's wild.
I figured this place was getting a little stagnant....anakon/chris/whatever his name is today has been busy as fuck, and hasn't had time to hit this place up....geo's off coughing up turds, or somesuch, so that leaves me.....getting assraped for hours this week at work, because the bosses thought it'd be a good idea to transfer in a new supervisior, rather than promote from inside....so now we all have less hours, which means less money...pretty fucking gay, if you ask me, which unfortuinately, noone in charge ever does...
so i decided to update, and toss some shit out here....i'm sure none of it is any good, but hey, who gives a shit...you're reading it, aren't you?...if so then my job is done....
