....I almost got shot by the motherfucking cops today
Went hanging out with a couple of my friends today....one of them..we'll call him "Don" got a new Colt SAA Airsoft replica for christmas...
He was, of course happy to have it, and wanted to show it to us....nothing wrong with that.
So we spent the night hanging out, buying video games, basically having a good time. We left his car at the shop i work at, so we went to pick it up...we went inside to take a leak, and grab some drinks...this turned out to be a mistake.
Don brings his SAA to show the guys. Still...nothing terribly wrong with that....what was wrong was even TOUCHING it outside the store...
We must have the shittiest luck in the world...he adjusting it in his pocket, and a cop comes around on a standard patrol of the plaza...he sees the glint off the chrome, and BAM, he's on us like a fat kid on cake...he stops, puts the light on don, gets out of the car, and draws his weapon on him....me and my other friend backed away from don, and put our hands up.....this dude had a loaded glock pointed at my friend....
he calls for backup, and in like 30 seconds, there's like 6 or so cruisers, and yay..they all wanted to point guns at me and my friends.....i think if i'd so much as sneezed, i'd not be writing this post right now...
At any rate, don was cuffed first, they took the SAA, yet they still assumed we were a threat, so we were cuffed next, searched, durring which time they made fun of my name, implied that i was a shoplifter, AND the cop searching me grabbed my motherfucking nuts....
They also proceeded to tear apart the car....aren't they supposed to ask before searching a vehicle?
And they couldn't even be bothered to put the shit in the back seat, BACK in the fucking back seat...they just left it thrown all over the car, in acction to crushing some shit, and totally wrecking the box on the new DVD rack i'd bought...wouldn't be a problem, except it's the kind you hafta assemble, and all the parts were trying to fall out all over the car.....
I mean, don't get me wrong, i'm happy as fuck that they didn't shoot me or my friends...i just wish they'd shown my personal property a little more respect is all....
At any rate, don appologized for trouble he'd caused the officers, he was given back his SAA, and we were all given back our effects...the officer took our ID's and checked em out, and we got those back too, then we were free to go......
It was just one of those "Holy Shit" moments....i seriously could have been killed.....
