my foci is tech

So i finally got my new rig up and running....this bastard is fucking sweet

2GHZ AMD processor
ASUS AN8-SLI Deluxe mainboard
1GB main ram
GeForce 6600GT video card
Soundblaster Audigy Gamer sound card....

...and as soon as the fuckheads at newegg stop jerkin' my dick, a brand new 19-inch Sony HD Trinitron monitor...

i'm so fucking psyched....got a lot of games i wanna get now..

any suggestions?

    my processor is an AMD Athalon 64 3200+

    and my vid card is PCIE...fucking with anything less than PCIE these days is pretty much a waste of money...

    as to games, F.E.A.R. looks phenomenonal....i've been tracking it's progress for a while now, and now that i have a good comp, i'll most likely pick it up...i'm also looking into getting the "super-deluxe zomfgzonastick" HL2 package...

    never was much for quake, so i'll probably be skiping that

    other games i'm wanting are Shattered Union, WoW(Maybe), Star Wars Galaxies, Halo, and Halo 2

    i'ma have me some fun with this bastard..

    I can probably get back into music too, and i plan to get educated in Lightwave, so i can make some models..

    ...this is gonna be fucking sweet..

    oh, and geo...yes, i'll probably play CS: Source after i have it...

    different strokes, for different folks, as they say...

    if i can afford it, perhaps i'll give it a chance...and if i don't like it...that's what the phrase "fuck you, i'm canceling my shit" was made for, lol

    the only thing i don't like about WoW is the fact that it's WoW, lol....never liked warcraft...now if there was a World(s) of Starcraft, that would kick suffucient ass to be guaranteed at least a month of my money...

    wish there was an MMO out there that didn't blow chunks...they seem like they could be really fun...as it is, i'll most likely be signing up for WoW, and give it a shot...as it happens, my girlfriend is nuts about teh game, and since i hardly see her(she lives in florida), this would be good, i think, lol..

    I also remembered, there are a few other games i wanted to pick up...like C&C: Generals, maybe some mechwarrior shit, definately picking up some space combat simulators...i'm WAY fucking behind in space combat sims..last one i was able to play was X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, and before that, the original X-Wing, Tie Fighter, and their many addon campaigns.....i'm seriously fucking behind, lol

    gonna get me some freespace, some freespace 2, X-wing alliance, whatever the latest lucasarts sim in that series is, i'm also looking to get battlefront, battlefront 2, breed, and a few others....gonna hafta hit a software shop, and see what looks good....make a list....

    this is gonna rock..

    luckily, i have a job, so i pretty much hafta manage my time well, or at least kinda well, or else i don't get sleep, and no sleep means no wake time, and i miss work, then i get fired, so no money for games...so yeah...
