Simon Of Space is a really great book...it's written in serial form, in a blog, on this domain..read it from the begining..it's an excellent story.


I had a really great idea for a rant for tonight...it came to me while i was at work, trying to ignore our dickhead assistant manager...god, i hate that fucker...whoops, getting off track...at any rate, i forgot what the goddamn topic was, and now i'm pissed, because it was really funny too.. >,<

Ya' know what really pisses me off?..video game-based movies that have nothing to do with the games they're allegedly based on....quick example, Resident Evil....Anderson takes elements(Raccoon City, T-Virus, Umbrella), and tosses them into a story that has nothing at all to do with the Biohazard timeline...Resident Evil was a good zombie movie on it's own merits, but it wasn't biohazard at all...

Anyone notice how hollywood's been fuckin' up lately?...they seem to be so completely bereft of artistic talent, that they let talentless hacks continue to curn out completely unwatchable shit, just to mantain the status quo...let's again, use Anderson as an example, not because i hate him (which i actually really do), but because it's just too goddamned easy...

Once upon a time, Anderson was a pretty decent film maker. If you look at his IMDB profile he was ok once..."Mortal Kombat", "Event Horizon", "Soldier" (Of course anything with Kurt Russel is gold.)...but then for some reason, that to this day is still unknown, somthing in his head snapped, and he became a shit film maker over night.."The Sight", "Resident Evil", "Resident Evil: Apocalypse", "AVP".....what the fuck....and now..his latest travesties "Resident Evil: Afterlife", "Deathrace 3000", "Necropolis", which he's writing, and "Dead Or Alive" and "Driver", which he's producing....

I'm not even going to bother watching Afterlife...i'm too afraid of an anyurism in my head exploding...i'll pass, kthx....now how in the hell could he be so stupid to go and even TRY to remake a classic like deathrace?....he really must have lost it....with Necropolis, i'm not terribly worried...the original was shit, so anything he does to it, can only be an improvement.....and wtf...why can't he just leave video games alone?...Driver was an awesome game, so was DOA....sure he's producing, but that doesn't mean he won't have some creative influence...

I fucking hate Paul W.S. Anderson....fucker should be hung by his balls until he agrees to never again have anything to do with hollywood or film making....

Hollywood should be stabbed in the face for continuing to let Anderson, and hacks like him make shitty films...
